Need Based Scholarship Program
Purpose and plan
Every student works tirelessly to reach their aims and objectives. Some may face hurdles in their journey, but they choose to stay strong and overcome them with time. Our scholarships provide students a sense of encouragement and security.Primary purpose of this Project is to help smart, hard working,intelligent students. Our project provides cash awards to such students.
Procedure
1.Responsible person, hereinafter called “ Coordinator”(Head Master/Head Mistress/Principal) selects10 students(two students from each grade and provides their names to the foundation.
2. Foundation will send the total cash award by bank transfer to designated person’s account once a year.
3. Coordinator distributes the funds to each student during a school function(Annual day/Parents’ day/Anniversary/other)in one or two installments based on students’ needs.
Coordinator provides confirmation to the foundation that scholarship distribution has been completed.

Eligibility and Selection criteria of students
Primary selection criteria are academic achievement and family income status

Academic Achievement
1.Primary requirement is that student must be intelligent and hardworking.

Should maintain average score of 60% in all subjects/papers/courses. A lapse in one term or academic year should be addressed with the student and must be encouraged to bring up the grades. Preferable to be in in the top 5 rank holders in the class/division/grade.
II. Family Income Status

Secondary criterion is that they should hail from a low income family. Parents are generally uneducated daily wage earners or household helpers.

Other preferences

Girl students are preferred because they are the pillars of our society and holds together the family units, and responsible for raising children.

Children of widows or single mothers(husband left wife or husband “disappeared”)should be given preference.

Teachers and management are in best position to decide. Foundation depends on school management for the best selection.
